SARIPA Disciplinary Rules [adopted 23 July 2021]

Annexure A: Complaint Form

  1. Please complete Annexure A and send your complaint in the format of a sworn affidavit, whereafter the matter will receive further attention.
  2. Your affidavit will be provided to our member for his/her response.
  3. You then have a right of reply.
  4. The National Disciplinary Officer will consider all documentation and advise whether further information is required.
  5. Once all documentation has been received, the complaint will be provided to the members of the Disciplinary Committee for their decision.
  6. Please note the following:
    • SARIPA cannot order a member to repay a complainant or compensate them in any way. The disciplinary process is separate from any civil action and is not a means of recovering money.
    • SARIPA cannot advise or represent complainants.
    • Complainants should obtain their own legal advice regarding any civil remedies available to them and the applicable time limits.
